I know I can’t be the only shelter-in-place shopaholic, whether online shopping has always been your hobby, or like me you’ve had a sudden need for additional loungewear and cuter home décor (if I’m being honest, I’m 110% both). Since it looks like this is the new normal, I decided to put together a short quarantine shopping list of what I’ve been buying and loving these last 8 weeks.
STYLE
Black Jumbo Rib Collar Double Zip Top – $28
I ordered this in February during a sale. I’m wearing it here and here with cargo pants, but I’ve mostly worn it around the house with sweats or leggings. I purchased this in size 12 but I wish I would have sized down. Even so, it is still casual to wear around the house but cute enough to feel like I actually got dressed.
Plus Black California Slogan Oversized Sweater – $35
If I’m being honest, this is my favorite sweatshirt. I have 3 of them in different sizes; one I wear Ariana-style, one as a basic pullover and I recently bleached the one I bought in this purchase (IGTV tutorial linked here). PLT has crazy sales all the time, and I snagged this pullover for 30% off. It is currently sold out, but restocks frequently, so keep checking back or pick it up in gray!

you can’t see my whole alfit but I am wearing the top + bottom in this photo
Chelsea Leopard Legging Set – $45
Isolation style for any fashionista must include animal print. I picked this up a couple months before q-tine but boy oh boy, has it come in handy since lockdown. Easily one of my cutest comfy sets thanks to the oversized top which I wear loose or knotted at the waist.
Charcoal Chicago Short Set – $40
Another set that I bought for no reason and ended up wearing practically every day. The top on this has a really cute fit, and I typically wear it with leggings or sweats rather than the matching shorts, but the 2-piece is cute enough to be worn together out and about. I got it in XL.
Periwinkle Warm Loving Fuzzy Set – $75
Hi, I’m Taylor, and I’m a fuzzy fabric addict – many people point this out to me on the regular, but I’ve come to terms with my issues. This crop half-zip top is similar to the last set and is really flattering for semi-busty girls like me. The bottoms fit more like a crop, and tend to ride up some throughout the day, but for chilly days or just days in bed, I’d definitely recommend this combo.
Living In It Cozy Ivory 3 Piece Set – $60
How many times have I posted pictures in this set? I’ve lost count. Easily my favorite purchase of February. The fabric is high quality and the cardigan is thick and substantial but not stiff or scratchy. I tend to wear the top + cardigan or the cardigan alone rather than all three pieces together. I got this in XL and it is the perfect fit – keep in mind the top runs a little small.
Two-Piece Cropped Borg Knitted Bralette – $12
Two-Piece Borg Knit Jogger – $23
My isolation fashion has been surprisingly monochrome. This set was actually a happy accident. A few months ago, I intended to just order the crop top, but ASOS actually sent me the joggers by mistake (at the top’s price). Rather than return, I simply reordered the top to have the set. Their “borg” fabric is something I’d describe as more of a rustic knit. It doesn’t feel totally soft but it is cozy! I have a few other similar pieces I pair these with, like the fuzzy Forever 21 cardigan in this photo.
Two-Piece Disco Legging – $23
These copper metallic leggings have quickly become a favorite. While they’re currently sold out, you can get them in the tall/petite cuts and if they do restock, I’d recommend sizing down. I typically wear 14 in bottoms, but I have these in 12 and I still have a little room in the waist/torso.
Organza Scrunchies – $11
This three pack of scrunchies feels luxe because of the sheer organza fabric. I do wish they offered a more vibrant pack of colors (blush, mauve, and plum, perhaps) but the two pastel colors and everyday black have gone well with most of my QOOTDs.

just ignore those bags – I pretty much refuse to put my luggage away, lol
Champion Sweatpants – $37
I’m a little ashamed of how much I spent on a pair of sweats to lounge around the house in, but they’re easily my comfiest pair, one of my best buys as far as an Amazon quarantine haul goes, though. Since they’re men’s sweats, there’s lots of extra length and the fabric is thicker and better quality than I usually get with women’s sweats, plus the color was just perfect. They’re currently going for $48 dollars, but I added them to my cart and they eventually went down to $37, so try that if you want to wait on a cheaper cost.

Wild Fable Cropped Hoodie – $18
Wild Fable Vintage Joggers – $18
By the time all the “influencers” were bleaching and tie-dyeing their stuff, I must’ve been too late because I had to wait a couple weeks for these items to restock before I could try my hand at the bleach set trend. I love that I chose these specific sweats though, because they’re the perfect mix of fitted and flattering. I have the top in M and bottoms in XL.
Stars Above Suede Slippers – $20
It was kind of a mission to get these. They stayed sold out in my size in-store, so I finally ordered for shipping to the store and got them just in time for my trip to Paris. I would advise you to size up; I’m just about a true size 8 and they’re a little snug on me.
Minnie Mouse Slipper Socks – $12
My QOOTD isn’t complete without a pair of comfy socks or slippers. As a huge Minnie Mouse fan I knew I couldn’t pass these up despite the dozen other sets of slippers and slipper socks I already own. These are one size fits all, but I didn’t have any issues with comfort or fit (I wear a size 8 in women’s).
Universal Thread 3-Pack Slub Socks – $7
I actually have all of the color varieties these socks come in, but the Assorted Blue are my most recent additions. They’re not super thick cozy socks, but I love the knit fabric and the colors go well with most of my loungewear. I also really like this waffle knit 3-pack.
LIFESTYLE
Pet Waste Bags + Dispenser & Clip – $8
Anyone else have a pup? As soon as we were sent to WFH I knew I’d need to stock up on doggy bags quickly, as I anticipated going on more walks than usual. I ordered the (180) bag set and I’m still on my first roll!
Another item that is currently out of stock, along with most other workout gear offered online. I am glad I thought to buy these early on in quarantine! As someone who’d recently gotten into weightlifting, this doesn’t quite replace the difficulty, but it does help.
Movies
I have basically every common TV/movie platform but since I’m a fossil I still like to buy DVDs; and since sometimes buying the DVD is cheaper than renting, it makes more sense. So far my lockdown haul includes a dozen rentals and purchases, including the Twilight Saga along with the Fifty Shades of Grey series, Rise of Skywalker and my favorite new thriller, Us.
Acrylic Organizers
As I’ve finally accepted my position in society as a #basic, I’ll admit that I jumped on the home organization train quite early. I love the byAlegory organizers and I got three for my lipsticks and jewelry. I have (2) of these Paint Pot Organizers that I use for storing and displaying my earrings. I also purchased the (12) Lipstick Organizer and I use this to store/display my favorite rings. Weird, but all my rings don’t even fit and yet I’m constantly feeling like I need more rings…Finally I have something I use for its intended purpose; a Plastic Palette Organizer that sits on my vanity with my favorite eyeshadow palettes. All of these are between $9-10.
5 Metallic Smoothie Straws – $9
I’ve always loved smoothies, but I wasn’t totally happy drinking them with any of the reusable straws I already owned. While I was hunting high and low for a clear straw set, I decided to go with these since they were indicated as “smoothie sized” and they’re perfect for that. I did also see some reviews that mention they work well with boba drinks.
Marble Tiered Tray Organizer – $28
Marble home décor might just be my favorite kind of décor. I saw Ourfa Zinali mention this on her Instagram story and I literally bought it immediately. While I didn’t exactly *need* it, I kinda did you know? I currently have it styled in my bedroom to display fragrances and select accessories, but I may repurpose it in the future.
Earth Candle – $9
I actually first purchased this in-store around the holidays, and quickly needed to replace it since I was rapidly burning through my favorite candles at the start of quarantine. While I don’t feel like the scent matches the title, the fresh and lightly sweet pineapple aroma is so pleasant. I love the black and gold detailing too!
Oud Wood & Musk 3-Wick Candle – $13
To be honest, I like this candle more for looks, but if you’re the type of person that likes minimalist décor, this candle would complement perfectly. I would give the throw 3.5 out of 5 in terms of strength, but the fragrance is a soft and warm homey scent. This is going to sound weird, but it smells like a slightly sweaty woman who was already wearing perfume.
White Citron Mercury Candle – $15
This is my absolute favorite candle and I almost didn’t include it because I don’t want it to become even more popular. The mercury glass feels really elegant and adds a touch of sparkle that goes with most color palettes, but the fragrance is what I come back for. Great throw and a lovely light citrus that doesn’t smell like household cleaner – it is somewhere between a fresh lemon tree and amusement park frozen lemon slushies.
SELF-CARE
Fuzzy Elastic Polka Dot Headband – $14
I always need something wide and absorbent to keep my hair back when I’m washing my face or doing my makeup. This 2-pack was a steal and is really cute! Very wide but quite tight, so I can’t really wear this longer than an hour, but I would definitely repurchase in other colors.

sorry but I had to use this IG filter photo
7-Color LED Light Therapy Face Mask – $119
My favorite YouTuber & beauty guru Karen Sarahii (easily one of the best YouTubers in the beauty space) has a skincare video talking about using LED face masks every night to help stimulate healing and collagen in the skin. Many of you may not know that I struggle with pretty severe hyperpigmentation and it’s at a point where I’m usually willing to try anything. I did notice an immediate change in my skin when I was using it consistently, but I found the eye mask that comes with the face mask doesn’t fully protect my eyes, and I usually experience blurry vision after use. I do love this mask and I’ll keep using it as soon as I find another pair of eye goggles that better suit my eyes. I should note that while this is potentially one of the best products on Amazon that I’ve tried, it is a little pricey. There are lower priced alternatives, but I actually ended up cashing in about $25 dollars of my prime points to knock a few buckeroons off the price.
Just for Men Mustache & Beard Coloring – $9
No, I don’t want to dye my mustache or my beard for that matter (they’re already dark enough). This is actually what I use for DIY brow tinting. I have to do it relatively frequently – about once a week – but this set is multi-use; there are about 10 brow applications in the box, and usually available for pre-order pickup at your local Target. If you want to see an at home brow tinting tutorial, check back on my Instagram in about a week!
It seems clear that I’ve done quite a bit of damage to my bank account, although in my defense more than half of this I bought pre-quarantine. I hope there’s something in this list that you can’t wait to buy! And if not, what have you been online shopping for?
